Yoga Cikitsa (Healing): The Middle Back

In The Path to Holistic Health B.K.S. Iyengar offers two distinct sequences for what is commonly called “the back”: upper and lower. In this special class we’ll practice his sequence for the thoracic spine and gain insight into how increasing mobility in this region of the body can benefit both what is both below (lower back/hips) and above (neck) it. Students are encouraged to apply early as space in this special class will be limited to ensure each student receives individual attention.
