Yoga, for Peace and Happiness
“In the city of Brahman is a secret dwelling, the lotus of the heart. Within this dwelling is a space, and within that space is the fulfillment of our desires. What is within that space should be longed for and realized.”
-The Chandogya Upanishad (translation by E. Easwaran)
Contained within each individual is a universal space that the ancient teachings proclaim is “to be longed for and realized.” The path of practice leads to this inner sanctuary containing an infinite source of inner peace (santosha) and happiness (sukha). In this workshop we’ll practice asana, pranayama and dhyana with the intention of using the many distinct parts of the body-mind to become situated in the one indivisible heart.
